BAR Donates $10,000 to Richmond Hospital
At the Association’s Inauguration Dinner held on May 1, 2017, the Business Association of Richmond donated $10,000 in support of Traditional Chinese Medicine services at Richmond Hospital, demonstrating its commitment to the development of local health care services and its response to the community’s recognition of the importance of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Earlier, in April 2017, the Provincial Government announced that health care services at Richmond Hospital would be delivered in a more culturally sensitive manner, while also acknowledging the important role and value of Traditional Chinese Medicine services within the local community.
This donation fully reflects the Business Association of Richmond’s concern for community well-being and the development of health care services, and also highlights the Association’s active support for public services that are culturally inclusive and responsive to community needs.
The Association hereby extends its sincere gratitude to all guests and supporters from across the community who attended and generously supported this meaningful community event.
